Bourgault Industries is looking for a motivated, self-directed individual to join our Warehouse team as an Outside Forklift Operator.This position is responsible for handling, moving, loading and unloading materials and ensuring the timely flow of materials through production.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively and efficiently communicate with supervisor and coworkers in coordinating daily requirements
- Ensure materials are moved and supplied to production on a timely basis
- Complete pre-shift inspection and identify potential future downtime for the forklift
- Perform minor repairs on equipment
- Report all breakdowns immediately to supervisor, and advice maintenance when it is time for service
- Drive with caution at all times, adhering to production areas' speed limits
Qualifications:
- Forklift experience in a manufacturing setting is strongly preferred
- Good planning and coordination skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Valid Driver's license
- Willing to work outdoors
