Liberty Tax Service is now hiring tax preparers for the upcoming 2017 Tax Season!!!
Seasonal F/T and P/T Daytime Positions available
Responsibilities:
Prepare income tax returns, answer customer inquiries and contact customers as needed, handle invoices and payments, perform clerical duties and perform general office duties.
Requirements:
Attention to Detail
Proficient with computers
Typing 30+ WPM
Professional, friendly and courteous
Good interpersonal and customer service skills are essential
Self-confident, self-starter and highly motivated
Good organizational and communication skills
Proactive and able to solve problems effectively
Displays a willingness to cooperate and work as part of a team.
Must be reliable and Trustworthy.
No prior experience or knowledge is required, we will train and get you registered in our online tax school (November 2016 - January 2017)
Tax preparation experience is an asset
Experience with Profile and/or Tax Cycle Software is an asset
Must be bondable and have a clean criminal record check
Must be willing to sign confidentiality agreement
Interviews will begin in December with positions to commence January 30, 2017.
Our online Tax School is a requirement. The cost is $299 plus tax and shipping. this includes all books and materials. You will be given a T2202 receipt upon completion, as an Income Tax Credit.
(Also anyone working throughout the upcoming tax season will be reimbursed the tax school fees on their last pay cheque in April 2017)

The course (including the final exam) is completely open book and online. Registration is already open and will start November 1st (late registration will close November 30, 2016). The course must be completed on or before January 31 2017.
