RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Performance Expectations
Provide accounting services to clients
Prepare and maintain payroll and related government remittances/filings, recording of sales, accounts receivable, accounts payable, expenses and payroll transactions
Complete bank reconciliations
Prepare HST returns, financial statements and personal and corporate tax returns
Credentials
Completion of an Accounting or Business Diploma or Certificate would be considered an asset
Familiarity with Caseware, experience with preparing T4s and T5s and knowledge of personal and corporate tax would be considered an asset
Understanding of payroll, bookkeeping and record keeping practices on a manual and computerized system(s)
Strong working knowledge of accounting software such as Simply Accounting or Quickbooks; proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
