Description

The Resort at Cypress Hills is currently seeking a highly motivated and customer service-oriented team player to join our Front Desk Team as a Guest Services Manager.

The Guest Services Manager plans, organizes, directs, controls and evaluates the operations of the Front Desk Department.  They are an experienced, take charge professional with excellent customer service skills and the ability to lead a team to achieve results.  They must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision.



Requirements

Extensive customer service experience
Experience managing people and leading a team


Skills & Abilities

    Strong leadership skills
    Previous experience with guest services in a lodging operation
    Excellent customer service ethic and high expectations for quality
    Strong professional communication skills
    Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with a high level of professionalism
    Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
    Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments
    Ability to work well under pressure and without supervision
    Ability to motivate, train and develop team members
    Ability to learn and communicate product knowledge to guests and employees
    Ability to work in a fast paced work environment
    Ability to use Microsoft Office and proprietary hotel software
    Decision making/ problem resolution skills
    Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher
    Flexibility to work nights, weekends and shift work
    Knowledge of the geographic and demographic area of the Canadian prairies
