Qualifications:
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Experience in working with at risk individuals, particularly immigrants and refugees an asset
- Must be able to work flexible hours when needed.
- Must have own vehicle and driver's licence
- Must pass YWCA Security Clearance
- Grade 12 education

Objectives: To be the Co-ordinator of the Prince Albert Regional Newcomer Centre; a fist-stop, walk-in collaborative service centre to welcome Newcomers to Prince Albert and peripheral communities, and guide and support them in accessing information, available resources and services.
Duties:
- Providing administrative support to the Centre
- Working as a team with the RNC Manager to meet the objectives of the Centre
- Possess relevant knowledge of services and resources in the community.
- Meet and greet of people who come to the RNC
- Maintaining organized and up-to-date online and printed materials and resources on locally/regionally available government and community programs and services.
- Development of resources to Prince Albert and Area
- Assessment and link to mandatory federal and provincial programs
- Booking appointments for settlement advisor and language assessor
- Developing knowledge of the processes and other resources surrounding immigration, work permits, etc
- Referrals to community resources
- Arranging for interpretation/translation where required
- Statistical data collection and reporting
- Develop and implementing new ideas
- All other duties as requested
Probation: All YWCA Prince Albert positions contain a three month probation period
