Chief Administrative Officer, Village of Neilburg
Incorporated as a village in 1946, the Village of Neilburg has a population of 448 and a trading area of approximately 1,000. We are located on Highway 40, 100km west of Battleford. Neilburg has remained a viable community with agriculture and energy the main industries. We have several amenities including grocery store, antique store, garage, credit union, library, community hall, arena, bowling alley, museum, farm supply stores, campground and nearby golf course and lake.
The Council of the Village of Neilburg invites applications for the position of
Chief Administrative Officer. The Chief Administrative Officer reports directly to Council and is responsible to provide direction in accordance with provincial legislation and Council approved policies. As Chief Administrative Officer you will be responsible for preparing the Assessment and Tax rolls, the operating budget and day to day operations of the village.
Preference will be given to applicants possessing a Local Government Authority C Certificate. Minimum one year experience in a municipal government setting, managerial experience, strong accounting skills, strong computer skills and experience with Munisoft software would all be considered assets.
