The successful candidate will be responsible for all areas of production as determined by the Bakery Manager. The candidate will operate and maintain equipment in a safe and responsible manner as well as complete necessary housekeeping of the department ensuring it is organized, clean, and provides a safe working environment.
The candidate must be able to follow recipes and formulas with accuracy and maintain consistent quality among all bakery products. Must be able to scale, mix, bake, finish, and decorate in accordance with approved company standards.
The candidate must also ensure sufficient quantity on hand to meet customer needs as well as train all existing and new bakery techniques, as directed by manager.
Must be available early mornings and weekends.
Some lifting is involved.
Retail Bakery experience in a commercial bakery and or certificate preferred.
