NEWCAP TELEVISION is looking to hire a SPORTS REPORTER/VIDEOGRAPHER in Lloydminster.

Newcap Television is part of an exciting media environment that includes two television stations in Lloydminster, and radio stations in Lloydminster, Wainwright, St. Paul, Bonnyville, Lac La Biche and Cold Lake.

The position is full time and includes sports shooting/reporting/editing - Monday to Friday, with some weekend work required from time to time. It also includes hosting a weekly live to tape sports show on Tuesdays, until the end of November. You may also be required to fill in as an anchor for other newscasts. The successful candidate will be able to multi-task, and is well organized.  It is a one person department, so you must be able to plan ahead and shoot, edit and write your own stories and meet daily deadlines. Previous anchoring experience would be an asset.
