Looking for Computer Network Technician (NOC: 2281)
Fulltime & permanent staff.
2 weeks of vacation each year. Starting salary is $34.50 per hour and 40 hours per week (10:00 A.M. to 6 P.M., Monday to Friday).
Daily work description:
1.Perform troubleshooting to system failures and identify bottlenecks to ensure long term efficiency of the network;
2.Build, manage and automate highly available server environments
3.Response for all aspects of data center infrastructure such as support, performance tuning, capacity management;
4.Troubleshoot hardware and maintain system smooth
5.Maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, computer workstations, printers, connections to the Internet and peripheral equipment;
6.Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks and to co-ordinate access and use of computer networks;
7.Provide problem-solving services to network users;
8.Install, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade Web server software;
9.Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations;
10.Control and monitor e-mail use, Web navigation, and install software;
11.Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks and to coordinate access and use of computer networks;
12.Work with minimal supervision, address and resolve challenges;
13.Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking, software, operating system software and software applications;
14.Provide technical direction to co-workers on computer and network usage and offer comprehensive advice and instruction;
Job requirements:
1. University 4-year Graduation Certificate in Network Engineering
2. 15 year's related network experience
