Description

The day time lifeguard is to assist the pool manager in carrying out daily operations of the swimming pool, which includes aquatic programs and services, cleaning and maintenance, as well as staff supervision and motivation. Lifeguarding and instructing swimming lessons is also required.

The Qualifications:
A minimum of one-year experience lifeguarding and instructing experience
Experience working with pool chemistry and water filtration is an asset
Ability to work with or without supervision
Ability to deal courteously and effectively with the public
Ability to understand oral and written instructions

Certifications:
Standard First Aid Certificate
NLS
Lifesaving Instructor
Red Cross Water Safety Instructor
Pool Operator Certificate
