Photo Electronic and Mobile Phone Department Manager (Full Time)

The Department Manager, Photo Electronics is responsible for directing photo electronic department employees to maintain merchandising, customer service, and operational standards within the department. The Department Manager is responsible for hiring, scheduling, and payroll, as well as the ongoing training and development of staff. The position leads the department towards achieving company goals and objectives, including financial benchmarks in sales, inventory control and payroll.

In addition to the above duties, this is a customer service position which requires a great deal of customer contact.  Accordingly, applicants must be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment while at the same time providing quality service in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner.  

Preference will be given to applicants with a minimum three years of retail management experience.   You will have extensive knowledge of Photo Electronic and Mobile products, combined with a commitment to staying current with changes in the relevant technology and innovations in the industry through independent research, training materials, seminars, and awareness of competitive activity.

Employees will be scheduled 40 hours per week and must be available to work a flexible schedule, Monday through Sunday, for day and evening shifts.
