Altus Geomatics provides integrated Field Surveys, Mapping, Remote Sensing (LiDAR/3D Laser Scanning), Land Use Planning, Environmental Consulting and GIS (Data Solutions and Systems) services to the energy, forestry and construction industries in Western Canada.

As a Field Representative and key member of our Production Team, you will play an integral role in our Oil & Gas and Municipal operations, based out of our Swift Current, SK office.

-Report regularly (daily) to the Swift Current office
-Work outdoors in all climates, conditions and terrain, generally returning home in the evening
-Be responsible for communicating client requirements to the project manager
-Analyze source maps, construction plans, survey data, photographs, computer records and other related information
-Collect and document field conditions and land related information
-Precisely measure angles, distances and elevations using precise leveling, high precision total stations and GNSS
-Prepare legible and detailed field notes with sketches and perform advanced, complex survey calculations
-Locate buried facilities, survey oilfield development and a variety of disciplines as necessary

Eligible candidates must have:
-Obtained a Geomatics Technology Diploma (or equivalent) or have a survey related background
-Gained at least 3 years experience surveying in the oil field
-Hold a Class 5 drivers license (driver's abstract required)
