Description

Horizon is looking for strong and seasoned on-shore Java and Websphere portal developer to provide support for Java and Websphere portal infrastructure and to work throughout the Solutions Development Life Cycle on programs and projects in various project phases (Initiation, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling, and Closing).

Required skills and experience may include, but not be limited to:
Prior demonstrated experience of design and development using Java and/or Websphere Portal tools
An in-depth knowledge of Java and/or Websphere Portal and knowledge of Oracle suite - Authentication/Authorization
Prior experience and training in Java and/or IBM Websphere Portal 8.5 is essential.
Additional skills which would be an asset:
1.Understanding of Web Content Management - Websphere Portal 8.5
2.Knowledge of Oracle suite - OAM/OIM - authentication/authorization.
3.Familiarity with the network and database connectivity as it pertains to the integration of Websphere Application suite.
4.Spring Framework
5.BootStrap - responsive design
6.An indepth knowledge of JSR 206 portlet development      
Education:
Recognized University Degree or diploma majoring in Computer Science or Software Engineering
Two (2) years current experience in developing and/or supporting application software in a professional development may be considered.
