Typical IT Programmer Analyst duties will include, but not be limited to:
Design, develop, modify, test, and document computer applications according to prescribed requirements and standards.
Research, evaluate, design, customize, test, install, implement, and maintain applications.
Apply technology and/or business solutions to achieve customer business needs/goals (innovatively apply knowledge to routine business and/or technical situations).
Propose, discuss, and evaluate technical and business solutions to help solve/meet the business need
Plan, schedule, coordinate, and report progress on activities of projects under their direction.
Take corrective action when there is a risk of an objective not being met.
Assist with preparing personnel, computer, and other resource estimates.
Assist with developing project/service delivery cost/benefit estimates.
Define, analyze, recommend, and implement technical solutions to business systems problems.
Develop and implement technical infrastructure components.
Interpret technical manuals and documentation; develop/provide manuals/training on the application of technology.
Provide technical advice, guidance, training, and support to user, customers, and systems staff relating to complex products and applications.
