Description

This position is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the Regina office of W.E., with a focus on marketing, public relations, strategic partnerships and business coaching.  This position has a key business advising responsibility for assisting and coaching clients on all aspects of business planning including: market analysis, business plan viability, financial analysis, human resources and operations. It will involve both one-to-one coaching as well as developing and facilitating group workshops and training sessions. As site lead, the individual will actively represent W.E. at community and business events and promote the wide range of business and economic development services, while identifying strategic opportunities for W.E.s growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of a post-secondary education in commerce or business or an equivalent combination of experience and education
A minimum of five years of experience in business advising and client relationship management
Training in marketing and/or public relations with excellent networking and business marketing skills
A strong understanding of small business operations, including developing business and financial plans and a thorough knowledge of local business resources
Strong leadership skills in planning and supervising programs and operations ensuring quality results
Experience in developing and facilitating workshops with a strong background in adult education
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, influence, and motivate clients and colleagues
Strategic and critical thinker who is adept at identifying issues and implementing creative and effective solutions
Thrives in a fast paced environment with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Superior communication skills, efficient in computer technologies and effective in writing documents and proposals
Works well independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
