Description

A personal assistant, receptionist works closely with the art therapist/practitioner to provide administrative support, usually on a one-to-one basis. The assistant's role is to help the art therapist/practitioner make the best use of their time through secretarial, administrative tasks among other responsibilities such as cleaning and organizing the studio; ordering, shopping for and restocking supplies, providing receptionist duties, sending out reminders for appointments including scheduling clients and refilling appointments when they become available. Assisting with the therapy dogs by taking them for walks, among other duties are components of this position. A valid drivers license and vehicle in good running condition are necessary. Ethical conduct and adherence to confidentiality policies are required. The successful candidate will be driven, ambitious, friendly, outgoing, independent but also have the ability to follow direction.

Due to allergies the successful candidate will need to refrain from wearing scented products to both the interview and the workplace.  

Enthusiasm required, post secondary education is an asset. Those resumes without cover letters will not be accepted.
