JELD-WEN, Windows and Doors is currently hiring a full time shipping/ receiving clerk for our Saskatoon operations. This successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and complete shipment of customer orders, tracking and reporting of shipments to customers, as well actively working general warehouse duties. As part of this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling and ensuring accurate delivery of customer order to both lumber yards and building site. A clean driving record is required as you will be driving a company vehicle, so courtesy and safety are paramount.
This position requires an outgoing and personable individual with a strong and polite telephone presence as customer interaction will be a significant part of the required duties.
Typical duties and responsibilities:
Tracking and verifying status of orders
Locating customer orders in transit
Verify stock and inventory levels as requested
Manage organize paperwork to maintain efficiency in the warehouse
Pick and collect customer orders from warehouse stock
Load and unload transfer trucks
Drive a forklift
Carry windows and doors up to 75 pounds
Calling customers to notify them when orders are ready to be picked up or back ordered
Track and schedule deliveries of product by local and distance couriers, as well as the company truck
Driving a 5 tonne cube van for deliveries clean drivers record required by all applicants
The successful candidate must be physically fit and be able to work flexible hours as required
