Requirements:
*Experience in a veterinary hospital is preferred. On-going training to our specifications will be offered to any successful applicant.
*Strong HR, written and oral communication skills, and interpersonal skills are needed
*Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy, client service driven environment
*Clinic hours are 7 am to 7 pm, 6 days per week; shifts are 8 hours with a 1 hour lunch break. A flexible schedule is necessary; the availability to perform some weekend and early
evening work is a requirement.
*Demonstrated competency in veterinary practice management software, MS Office Suite, POS systems and cash flow management

Specific Skills
- Administer treatments as prescribed by veterinarian
- Produce diagnostic radiographs, collect samples and perform other laboratory tests
- Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under direction of veterinarian
- Handle, restrain and care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery
- Counsel clients on animal health care
- Conduct specialized procedures on animals such as animal identification and hoof trimming
- Conduct and assist in laboratory research
- Assist veterinarian before, during and after surgery
