Description

Supporting the Payroll and Benefits Unit, the Payroll and Benefits Administrator is part of a team delivering multi-cycle payroll processing and benefits administration for 400+ employees and 10 different client groups including Members of the Legislative Assembly and their employees, Caucus staff, employees of the Legislative Assembly Service and other Officers of the Legislative Assembly.

The Payroll and Benefits Administrator is responsible for processing payroll in a timely and accurate manner, as well as, employee data management. You will calculate and process data required for bi-weekly and monthly payrolls; enter and maintain employee information; create and issue ROEs online; respond to employee and government agencies payroll inquiries; process garnishees and other special payments and ensure deductions and remittances are correct; and work collaboratively with key business stakeholders (Human Resources, the Public Service Commission, and the Public Employees Benefits Agency).

All employees of the Legislative Assembly Service are required to provide non-partisan, confidential service to all Members of the Legislative Assembly and the successful candidate will need to provide a satisfactory criminal record check.
