As Operations Manager, you will provide leadership, management and communication skills to maintain highest efficiency of manufacturing animal feeds, while maintaining excellent customer service.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Oversee the operations procedures and ensure policies are maintained to ensure high standards of production.
Oversee the general maintenance of the facility and yard.
Maintain efficient delivery systems while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Maintain levels of inventory and manage inventory costs.
Prepare annual operational budgets.
Develop and manage personnel.
Qualifications
3-5 years of operations experience.
Grade 12 Diploma.
Previous managerial experience, preferably in a non-unionized industry.
HACCP experience an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of operations and mechanical processes.
Excellent knowledge of computer systems.
