FCL invites applications for the position of Learning and Design Specialist in our home office located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

The Learning and Design Specialist is responsible for providing training support to strategic initiatives/special projects in the organization. The incumbent works with Project Managers and Business Units to develop a training plan (from project roll out to post go live sustainability), to determine appropriate methods of delivery for training content, and works closely with the Learning Design and Delivery Manager to determine resource availability for various projects. The incumbent liaises with SMEs and other stakeholders to determine training program content. The incumbent may be involved in project development work depending on workloads and time constraints.

The successful candidate will have a University degree with a preference for Commerce, Organizational Development, or a related discipline and 5 years of Human Resources experience out of which 3 years of Adult Learning and Learning and Development. An understanding of project implementations and the role that training plays in the success of the project is required. Certifications in adult education, training, or a related field are assets. Experience creating training plans for large projects is an asset.
