Description

The YWCA Regina is a non-profit organization that exists to support and empower women, children, and youth in addressing their diverse needs in the realization of their full potential.

Two full-time, permanent position is available for Early Childhood Educators at the YWCA Childcare Centre.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the well-being of the children as well as the creation and implementation of developmentally appropriate programming.

Responsibilities:
-Providing a safe environment for all children with daily cleaning and caregiving responsibilities;
-Programming for children utilizing the Play and Exploration principles;
-Help prepare meals when necessary;
-Have a positive attitude;
-Punctual and dependable

Qualifications:
-Successfully obtained ECE Level II or higher
-Experience working with children and youth;
-At least one-year experience;
-Completed Phase 1 and Phase 2 of Play and Exploration;
-Ability to obtain a Criminal Record Check;
-Ability to facilitate high-quality programs and activities;
-Knowledge and experience in programming for children and youth, swimming, field games, crafts and other summer activities;
-Ability to work in a multicultural setting;
-Ability to create and maintain an effective team environment;
-satisfactory criminal record check with vulnerable sector check;
-valid CPR/First Aid
