SOFIA House is a second stage housing facility that provides safe housing and support for families trying to escape violent homes. Through our on-site counselling services and housing capabilities we live the meaning of SOFIA: Support of Families in Affliction.

As the executive director, you will have the opportunity to make our community safer by playing a key role in the management of SOFIA.  You will make an impact on womens lives through:

Ensuring that the agency has a strong public image through external relations in an effort to ensure adequate financial support to the organization.  Planning, formulating, and evaluating programming in accordance to the SOFIA House vision.  Contributing to the overall vision of the organization in concert with the board of directors.  Providing human resource management to a small, but mighty team.
