Executive Director
Prince Albert Aboriginal Headstart
The Executive Director for the Aboriginal Headstart is responsible for providing quality care that maximizes the learning potential for all children. The Director will work closely with parents, children and staff so there is a seamless flow of communication. They will also work with other satellite sites, partner agencies and parent groups by presenting any new or program updates.
They will be accountable to the implementation of all program policies and procedures, adhere to best practice guidelines, human resource development and a proven ability to work with financial statements.
This position is accountable to the Board of Directors
Duties and Responsibilities
The primary job duties and responsibilities for the Executive Director include but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for the day to day activities
Provide Training and professional development opportunities for staff
Ability to work with financial budgets
Ensures a safe and Healthy environment
Provides oversight and manages facility/site repair and maintenance
Creates family and community relations participates in organizational policy development
Plans/ forecasts for the organizational needs
Develops strategic, program and annual operational plans
Completes all necessary reporting required by funding agency
Qualifications
?BSW or B.ED specializing in Early Childhood developments
Must have Early Childhood development or equivalent
Three (3) years? experience in a supervisory role
Experience in budgeting and maintaining financial records
Preference will be given to aboriginal ancestry
CRC clearance, valid Saskatchewan Driver?s License
