We Care Health Services is hiring Community Support Workers to service clients in the Saskatoon, SK and surrounding areas. The CSW will provide assistance to babies, toddlers, youth and adolescents with possible behavioural concerns to ensure safety and their well-being in the community. Our clients can range from a wide variety of ethnic cultures and different age groups who will be cared for in a residential and/or facility setting.
SCHEDULE & HOURS
Full time, Part time, casual hours available.
Combination of 8 hour shifts and 12 hour shifts for overnights, evenings, minimal days and weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preference will be given to applicants who have the following qualifications:
A satisfactory Criminal Record Check including the Vulnerable Sector Search that is valid within 12 months
Experience working with babies, toddlers, youth and adolescents
Current CPR level C certification
Current First Aid
Saskatchewan Child Abuse Registry Check if applicable this document can not be older than 12
months from the date it was issued.
Requirements include some post secondary education in Youth Care Work, Social Work, Counseling, Early Child Educator, Educational Assistant or other related disciplines and/or 1-2 years previous work experience in human services
Non Crisis Intervention certificate, PART training or similar training and/or 1-2 years previous work experience with children and behaviors.
Valid class 5 driver's license
Valid vehicle insurance with $2,000,000 liability.
Satisfactory Driver abstract record
