Northwest Community Futures is a community economic development organization that provides services to entrepreneurs for business startup and expansion including loans, counseling and training. The corporation also owns and operates The Executive, a business facility that provides meet rooms, day offices and long-term lease units. The corporation serves a region of 72 communities with a population of 76,000.
THE POSITION
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the General Manager is responsible for corporate, financial, operational, and facility performance and goal achievement.
The General Manager is hands-on with:
Board of Director and governance matters
Banking, Accounting, Budgets, Audit, Financial Statements
Contract negotiations, Marketing, Media relations, Relationship building
HR mgmt., Performance reporting
Regulation, Contract and policy compliance
Business Plan development and evaluation
Client services including lending, counselling and self employment training
Privacy, Confidentiality, Professionalism, Corporate integrity
Fostering a team environment and a high standard of client service
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Post Secondary education in a related field: Commerce, Management, Business Administration or equivalent
Minimum 5-years experience in Business Mgmt and Small Business Lending
Reliable, dependable, trustworthy, professional appearance and conduct
Independent and collaborative decision-making
Exceptional organizational skills
Well-developed communication skills: written, verbal, personal presentation
Above average computer skills: Win10, Office 365, Sage 50 Premium 2015, Keyboarding, Internet and Research proficiency
Oath of Confidentiality, Criminal record check, Bondable
Valid Saskatchewan driverss license and reliable vehicle
