Job Description: The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) is accountable for providing clinical education, consultation and participation in policy development at the regional level in Prairie North Health Region.  The CNE will collaborate with Directors, Managers, and Point of Care staff in the assessment of learning needs, delivery of a regional nursing orientation and providing specific education/inservices.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Level C Health Care Provider (HCP) - Heart & Stroke
Current CPR Certification
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills
Communication skills
Leadership skills
Ability to adapt to changing conditions
Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position
Other Information

3 years recent clinical experience in acute clinical or patient/family service area

This is a regional position currently based out of North Battleford.
Geographic Location: NORTH BATTLEFORD
Expected Start Date: November 7, 2016
FTE: 1.00

Hours of Work: In a 6 week rotation: 28 shifts of 8.00 hours
