ROGERS TAVERN is currently seeking bar staff!
This position requires you to serve tables, tend bar, and help off sale patrons.
Part time or full time positions are available. Ideally, we'd prefer to have the positions filled immediately.
We are open until 12:00 am, 1:00 am, or 3:00 am dependent on the day. Willingness to work late nights and weekends is a must. It is predominantly night shifts that we are currently looking to fill.
Successful applicants will be outgoing, dependable, quick learners with a talent for customer service.
Those with experience working in a similar environment will be given preference, however we are always willing to train the right person.
Food and Beverage Serving Skills
- Serve food and beverages, general plate service
- Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
- Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
Wine and Stewarding/Serving Skills
- Present, open, pour and serve wine in appropriate wine glassware
- Describe and advise on wine selection
Essential Skills

Additional Skills
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
- Load buspans and trays
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- Assist customers with special needs
- Customer service oriented
- Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
