Job Description: AS A MEMBER OF THE PAPHR PRIMARY HEALTH CARE TEAM, THE COMMUNITY DIETITIAN WORKS PROACTIVELY PROVIDING OUT-PATIENT NUTRITION COUNSELING, TEACHING AND EDUCATION SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES AND COMMUNITY GROUPS, AND OTHER HEALTH PROFESSIONALS WITH THE INTENT OF PROMOTING GOOD HEALTH AND DISEASE PREVENTION. THE COMMUNITY DIETITIAN MAY PROVIDE CLIENT AND FAMILY FOCUSED SERVICES IN COLLABORATION WITH OUTSIDE AGENCIES (BASED ON FUNDING ARRANGEMENTS) IN ADDITION TO PAPHR CLIENTS AT VARIOUS SITES WITHIN THE REGION.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nutrition
Valid Class 5 drivers license
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Dietitians Association
Experience
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN A COMMUNITY DIETITIAN ROLE WOULD BE PREFERRED.  
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Ability to work with people in a health care environment with professionalism and respect
Computer skills including Microsoft Office word processing and spreadsheets, email and internet

112 hours in 3 weeks rotation.
