Looking for a dedicated and passionate career oriented individual who is looking for a career in hotel sales.
The successful individual will:
Research, prospect, qualify and develop leads for Southeast SK
Develop new accounts, maintain existing accounts and implement sales strategies.
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and outside contacts in order to produce group business.
Participate in various networking opportunities to continue to sell the hotels.
Conduct site tours of the hotel property when required.
Participate in Brand-led sales initiatives and meetings.
Work with the General Managers and other staff within the hotel.
Produce weekly and monthly sales reports.
Maintain a professional image at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 1-2 years direct sales experience. A certificate, diploma or degree in tourism or hospitality related field.
Knowledge of the hospitality industry.
Excellent communication & organizational skills, self-starter, proven sales skills, detail oriented, time management skills, exemplary positive attitude and able to work independently as well as with others.
Computer literate with knowledge of a variety of software programs including Microsoft Office and database programs.
Valid driver's license.
