Duties include:
-Teaching dance technique and artistic interpretation to amateur
and professional individuals and groups.
-Teaching competitive and recreational dance lessons in ballet,
tap, jazz , lyrical/contemporary
-Developing and teaching routines to students for competition.
-Preparing students for RAD Ballet examinations.
-Preparing dance students for competition.
Applicants must have 3 years of teaching experience, graduated
from a dance school or academy or hold a degree or diploma in
dance. Canadian Dance Teachers Association member certificate
,RAD Certification,and or Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers Certificate an asset. Applicants must be fluent in
English.
Employer offers three weeks of vacation/year and $250.00
continuing education bonus.
