Description

Providing professional delivery of safety courses including Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry and Rescue, WHMIS and TDG, Safety Orientations, First Aid, Powered Mobile Equipment Operation, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Instruct Company,  Third Party Safety Courses, and in-house courses to staff
Administer and Grade end of the day quizzes, record results
Maintain all current Instructor Certifications
Participate in In-house and off-site Professional Development
Answer questions and inquiries
Prepare all course materials, equipment and classroom before course begins and take down class room to pre-class state after course is done.
Assist in Tracking specialized course supplies
Stay up to date with all current OHS legislation and standards, Red Cross, ENFORM, GLOBAL, OSSA and Company standards and guidelines as they apply.
Travel for special request training
Assist with continual improvement initiatives
Other duties such as inspections, attending client meetings and other miscellaneous support as required including consulting
Qualifications:
Proven experience in training delivery;
Post-secondary education in safety and/or teaching adult learners considered an asset;
Valid SCSA/ASCSA Safety Courses, or equivalent
Certified as an H2S Alive Instructor; OSSA Instructor; Global Ground Disturbance II Instructor; First Aid/CPR Instructor  considered an asset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Strong knowledge of Power Point computer troubleshooting;
Field-related construction and industrial safety experience;
Knowledge of safety legislated requirements related to construction activities;
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
Efficient, Reliable, Detail Oriented and Punctual
Possess a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers License.
Physical requirements: Carrying equipment, arranging classrooms, etc.
