Description

George Gordon Development Ltd. is looking for Administrative support at the Urban office in Regina. The successful person will perform a variety of administrative, clerical, reception and research duties to support the George Gordon Urban Offices and more specifically the Workforce Development Program. Client information management tracking and follow up will be a priority.
MAJOR DUTEIS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Provides administrative support for GGDL offices and the Workforce Development Program (meeting minutes, document drafting, faxing requests, document filing, data entry, ordering of office supplies and various other related admin tasks);
-Assisting clients with the program registration process (Filling out forms, collecting personal information such as resumes, educational certificates and personal documents);
-Manage and maintain the GGDL computer labs and assist clients with usability and printing questions;
-Recording, maintaining and updating of client?s personal information through an Excel database and ARMS client database;
-Responsible for conducting personal follow-up calls and tracking updates with specific clients outlined by the Workforce Development Manager;
-Reception duties for GGDL urban offices. Assists walk in clients and clients by phone. Directing clients to specific areas of need as required;
-Assists with various side projects as requested including research on recruitment events, networking, training and client career development opportunities;
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
-Grade 12 education with minimum 6 months related administrative experience with similar tasks and duties as outlined in the job description;
-Working knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Excel and Word;
-Knowledge and experience using a database to collect, maintain and update information;
-Good verbal and written communications skills and the ability to deal effectively with clients and customers;
