We are looking for a "right-hand" for our Manager. Multi disciplined, you would learn to install polyurethane spray foam, plural component protectants for the automotive and oil field industry and protective paint films for automotive applications along with fire protectant coatings to industrial applications.
Some experience in the application of foam, box liners and plural component coatings would be nice but not required.
Must be able to work in confined spaces and at heights
Able to read, write, speak and understand English
Reliable transportation to get to and from work
Adhere to Optimum's health and safety standards (including the Responsible Care policy), and wear the required personal protective equipment for the job in a safe manner
Maintain a clean and tidy work area while performing manual, repetitive tasks
Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, around machinery, and in conditions where there are loud noises and fumes
Perform tasks that require moderate to heavy physical exertion
Work well independently and take initiative
Complete tasks with a sense of urgency while delivering safe and accurate results
Detail-oriented, and committed to both safety and quality
Able to effectively give and receive feedback, and work well in a team environment.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Legally entitled to work in Canada.
