Facility: COMMUNITY HEALTH (MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES)
Job Description: The Speech Language Pathologist reports to the Supervisor of Autism/Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Services and the Regional Director of Mental Health and Addiction Services, as appropriate. As an interdisciplinary team member the therapist is required to assess, diagnose and implement treatment of speech and/or language remediation programs to the preschool populations in a large geographical area and in addition, provide consultative, public education, and parent training services.
Required Qualifications

Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology
Registered or eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA)
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (SASLPA)
Experience
One year post-graduate work experience desired, preferably in an outpatient setting.  Experience in providing direct therapeutic services to children with communication disorders.  
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to provide public/educational presentations
Demonstrate responsible decision making through the application of knowledge, critical thinking and sound clinical, legal and ethical practice
Commitment to continuing professional development
Excellent assessment, diagnostic and intervention skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
