Facility: COMMUNITY/PUBLIC HEALTH EAST
Job Description: The incumbent is accountable for the provision of direct clinical mental health and addictions services to primarily adult clients.  This position will perform generalized social work services as assigned. These services will include individual and group counseling, case management, and public education.  The position is part of a multi-disciplinary team comprised of psychiatric nurses, social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists and functions within the practice principles of the mental health and addiction services program management.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Social Work
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Experience
DIRECTLY RELATED EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING IN A MENTAL HEALTH CLINICAL SETTING WITH A WIDE RANGE OF CLIENTS LIVING WITH PSYCHIATRIC, RELATIONAL AND ADJUSTMENT DISORDERS.  EXPERIENCE IN DELIVERING GROUP-BASED TREATMENTS AN ASSET.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Counseling skills
Knowledge of the mental health services act and regulations
Knowledge of human behaviour, group dynamics and the mental health needs of adults
Knowledge of treating mood disorders

224 hours in a 6 week rotation.  Field Hours.  Shifts (days, evenings, nights) including actual hours, date of commencement and temporary end dates are for informational purpose only and may be subject to change.
Expected Start Date: November 21, 2016
Expected Up To Date: April 30, 2017
FTE: 1.00

Hours of Work: In a 3 week rotation: 14 shifts of 8.00 hours
