Job Description: The incumbent is accountable for the provision of direct clinical mental health and addictions services to adult clients.  This position will perform generalized social work services as assigned. These services may include individual, group and family counseling, case management, and public education.  The position is part of a multi-disciplinary team comprised of psychiatric nurses, social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists and functions within the practice principles of the mental health and addiction services program management.
Required Qualifications

Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Masters of Social Work/Masters of Indian Social Work from an accredited University that includes education aimed at theories of counseling and communication skills.
Experience
Minimum of one year experience in the area of mental health and addiction             services.  Experience with adults and group services is preferred.


136 hours in a 6 week rotation.  Shifts (days, evenings, nights) including actual hours, date of commencement and temporary end dates are for informational purpose only and may be subject to change.
