Key Roles and Responsibilities
Establishes the overall vision and direction for the implementation of safety as it related to transportation
Provides effective leadership for the operation team, including Drivers, Service Personnel, Supervisors and Contractors
Meet regularly with department heads/corporate services leaders
Ensure school division policies and procedures, and government regulations are adhered to
Make recommendations to revise and develop procedures to ensure effective and efficient operations of transportation services that focus on student safety
Related duties as assigned
Education, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience
Has at least 3 years of experience with demonstrated access in a senior leadership role;
Has relationship building as the foundation of strong interpersonal and communication skills;
Has demonstrated a commitment to team building and working collaboratively; and
Has familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Sharepoint, Adobe and social media tools.
Compensation and Benefits
Full Benefit Package
Employer matched defined benefit pension plan
Salary Range: $79,000 - $103,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
This position will commence on a mutually agreed upon date. Interviews will be scheduled once a suitable pool of candidates is established.
