Description

The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan invites applications for a faculty member at the Assistant Professor level. Applicants must have a BSc in Chemical Engineering, as well as a PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline, and must be eligible for registration as a PEng with the APEGS. Significant academic and/or industrial experience in the areas of energy technology and/or environmental sustainability would be a valuable asset.  

The successful candidate must provide evidence of teaching excellence and research in energy technology and/or environmental sustainability.  The successful candidate will deliver chemical engineering core undergraduate courses and develop and deliver post-graduate courses, contributing to the departments high-quality undergraduate and graduate education, and research.  

The position also offers a comprehensive benefits package, further details will be provided to the successful applicants selected for an interview. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.  Shortlisted candidates will be required to deliver a presentation on their research, as well as a teaching presentation, and will be interviewed by the search committee.
