Description

The Bea Fisher Centre Inc., is in need of a DIRECT CARE WORKER for our Residential Division.

Our candidate must be service oriented, flexible, patient and caring.

Your duties will include understanding/following the clients program, assisting with daily activity planning, community integration, medical appointments, recreational activities, personal care, etc.  Must be compassionate and have an upbeat attitude.  Experience working with people with disabilities, including various behaviours would be an asset.  MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS, ROTATIONAL SHIFT WORK.  

Qualifications:
- Disabilities Studies or Rehab Diploma preferred (Equivalencies Considered).
- Personal Care responsibilities required.
- Behaviour Management experience an asset.
- Valid First Aid/CPR certificate required.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License & Vehicle required.
