Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Specialist

Permanent Appointment

Regina Head Office



Job Summary:

Ensures consistent application of evaluation processes related to safety associations, safety management certification and WCB injury prevention.


Ensures that standards, guidelines, and processes are compliant with WCB, related legislation, and related guidelines and standards.


Promotes the benefits of evaluation and certification to stakeholders through collaboration and partnerships.


Develops and implements evaluation tools and processes to ensure internal programs are meeting their intended outcomes for customers.



Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related discipline.

Minimum of five years experience demonstrating the following:
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in quality assurance safety, management systems and program evaluation processes.
Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data to make effective and intuitive business decisions and recommendations.
Working knowledge with non-profit corporations
Working experience with adult education
Working knowledge and experience with the Employment Act, OH&S legislation, quality assurance and safety management system development, administration and maintenance. Ability to research and apply best-practice approaches relative to organizational initiatives.
Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships and partnerships by utilizing strong customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work independently or as a team member to effectively organize work and accurately complete assigned tasks.

This position is a field position. As such, it is necessary for an individual to have a valid class 5 drivers license to occupy the position.
