POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the mine engineering team, you will provide specialized technical support to the Cigar Lake operation. You will primarily be responsible for providing NATM (New Austrian Tunnelling Method) expertise for the tunnel development works. You will also be responsible for overseeing other mine development, ground support and geotechnical instrumentation.

Cameco offers a competitive total rewards package including base salary, bonus (target of 18%), pension, benefits and employee share ownership plan and vacation. The base salary for this position has an approximate range of $110-140,000 CAD annually.
This position is located at our Cigar Lake operation in Northern Saskatchewan and works on a two-week in /two-week out shift schedule rotation (77 hours/week).
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements of the position:
Bachelors degree in civil or geotechnical engineering
Seven to twelve years of relevant work experience
Significant tunnel experience, with three or more years expertise in NATM techniques
Experience working in an underground mining environment
You must be eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS)
Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
