Facility: COMMUNITY HEALTH (MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES)
Job Description: As a member of the Addiction Services Program team, and under the direction of the Supervisor for Regional Addiction Services, the incumbent in this position is responsible for day to day client service delivery. This includes the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of Services provided. Other related services include clinical case management, counselling of individuals, families and groups, community education, community development and the promotion of healthy lifestyles.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Chemical Dependency studies or another Bachelor Degree acceptable to the employer
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Knowledge of the Addictions specific Twelve Core Functions
Knowledge of addictions screening and assessment tools and procedures
Conflict resolution skills to effectively handle difficult issues
Ability and willingness to travel and work flexible hours including evenings/weekend as required
Ability to demonstrate knowledge in addictions and their effects on the family unit
Demonstrated knowledge of a holistic addiction treatment model and the developmental model of recovery (DMR)
Knowledge of community resources in the addictions field
Knowledge of best practices in the addictions field and harm reduction strategies including the Saskatchewan Model of Recovery Services (SMRS)
Ability to deliver workshops and lecture material to clients and community
Computer skills including Microsoft Office word processing and spreadsheets, email and internet
Good interpersonal skills utilizing sensitivity and cour
