The Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation is looking for an Events Coordinator to plan and coordinate fundraising and special events for the Foundation. This is a full time position (37.5 hours/week). On occasion there will be evening and weekend work.
REQUIREMENTS:
Event planning and fundraising experience
Office administration management preferred
Strong communication skills including writing, proof reading and public speaking
Excellent interpersonal skills, both in person and on the phone
Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision
Proficient computer skills
Proficient social media skills (Facebook and website maintenance)
Highly confidential
Responsibilities
Set goals, create action plans and develop timetables for special events
Recruit, retain, and recognize volunteers and sponsors
Plan, organize and assist with administering fundraisers
Develop marketing material, written reports, and media releases
Other duties as required
The pay scale with be dependent on experience and qualifications.
