Natural Gas Compression Technician
We are currently seeking an experienced Natural Gas Compression Technician.
Ensure all equipment is operating normally and perform minor mechanical maintenance, adjustments and repairs
Make manual adjustments to valves or equipment
Perform regular preventative maintenance on gas compressors
perform compressor rebuilds
trouble shoot and diagnose compressor and or gas flow issues
set up and monitor daily operations of gas compressors
Natural Gas Technicians must have the following skills and attributes;
Knowledge in natural gas and petroleum industry, temperature and compression equipment and pipeline system
Must have 3 years + experience with Gas Compressors
Mechanical aptitude
Precise
Responsible
Handy with tools
Interested in working with machines and complex equipment
Comfortable around large noisy equipment
Able to work on their own with little supervision
In an emergency, they must be able to evaluate the situation and respond quickly
This will be a full time role located in Lloydminster with an 8 and 6 shift.
