On behalf of our client, we are seeking a qualified Architectural Technologist to join a reputable, growing, full service interior design firm.
Ideal candidates for this position will be self-motivated, creative, and possess skills, qualifications, experience and attributes that include the following:
    Graduate of a recognized Architectural Technologist program (equivalencies will be considered)

    3-4 years experience in interior design, architectural or drafting firms

    Assist with project coordination through email and phone calls with contractors, suppliers, trades and product reps

    Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, proficiency in Sketch-Up and other 3D modelling programs is desired. As a Mac-based office, proficiency using Mac computers is also desired, however training can be provided as needed.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs to include: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is also required.

    The ability to create technical/working drawings for both residential & commercial spaces. As a highly customer service oriented firm, quality is paramount to the quantity produced.
-    CAD drawings of commercial renovations of any building falling under Part 9 of the Building code and all spaces under 7500sqft - all drawings required for permitting and bidding
-    CAD drawings of high end custom homes including all construction drawings and full interior detailing including millwork packages

Salary is negotiable and will commensurate with experience. Starting range: $20-24.00/hr
