The Rural Municipality of Wilton is seeking an experienced gravel haul Class 1 Driver to assist us in maintaining and building over 600 miles of roadway infrastructure. We believe drivers should go Big then go Home all drivers home every night with weekends off. We genuinely care about your safety and the safety of those on the road with you. We need someone to:
Work diligently amongst the team in creating and maintaining high level of service to roadway infrastructure
Main duties include fluid hauling and participation amongst a hardening crew
My be responsible for hauling of gravel, clays and assorted road topping materials
Operate varying truck combinations: Tandem, Belly Dump, End Dump, and Live Bottom
Gravelling roads and applying various road topping materials
Operate safely and efficiently with strong time management
You should have:
3 years minimum driving experience; fluid and gravel haul experience an asset
Class 1 Drivers with Clean Abstract
Proficient driving skills on varying road surfaces and terrain
Mechanically and technically inclined
Willingness to work flexible hours
Ability to work with minimal supervision
