Description

Kinistin Education Centre invites applications for a Grade 2/3 teaching position to commence duties IMMEDIATLEY.  We are seeking an energetic team player who is student focused and committed to the teaching profession.  Kinistin Education Centre is a Nursery to Grade 8 School with a student population of approximately 100 students, a teaching staff of 7, and other support staff for the 2016/2017 school year.  The Kinistin Saulteaux Nation is a community of approximately 500 people located approximately 40 km southwest of Tisdale in Northeast Saskatchewan.

Qualifications:

    Must have a current Saskatchewan Professional `A' Certificate.
    Committed to academic success for all learners and understand the adaptive dimensions for differentiated instruction and assessment to meet diverse needs of students.  
    Collaborate with classroom teachers, educational assistants, parents, specialists, and other learning team members to help create a positive learning environment.
    Value adaptive leadership, strong instructional leadership skills, and strong organizational skills.  
    Commitment and accountability to the teaching profession.
    Preference may be shown to individuals who have past experience working with grades 2/3 in a team oriented environment.  The successful applicant will also have First Nations awareness and a willingness to work with parents and community.
