1617-818 Wellness Coordinator - Marsden & Neilburg - Northwest School Division #203

Marsden Jubilee Elementary School (20%) and Neilburg Composite School (80%) are looking for a full-time, temporary Wellness Coordinator. The position is to commence on January 5, 2017, or on a mutually agreed upon date and terminate on June 29, 2017.

A Grade 12 diploma is required. Other related training or experience in the field of Education, Health, Child and Family Services, Social Work, or Psychology would be an asset. The position responsibilities include, but not limited to coordinating and implementing programs to raise awareness of issues related to student wellness including fitness, nutrition, mental, social and emotional health, and making safe and healthy choices. This position is split between two dynamic schools about 15 minutes apart.  The selected individual will be expected to meet the needs of a diverse population of Kindergarten to Grade 12 students.
