Work Profile
These four (4) positions will involve the general labour services to support the construction and maintenance of various trails in Prince Albert National Park.
Language Requirement
English Essential
Education
To be eligible, you must be:
A full-time post-secondary student currently enrolled in an accredited institution;
Currently recognized as having full-time student status by the academic institution in which you are presently enrolled;
Returning to full-time studies in the next academic term.
Experience
Experience in performing labour tasks associated with the maintenance of grounds, trails, or landscaping;
Experience in the use of hand and light power tools associated with grounds, trail maintenance, or landscaping;
Experience in planning and carrying out tasks in team environment.
Experience in completing minor carpentry repairs
Knowledge
Knowledge of labour work procedures for general construction and maintenance operations;
Knowledge of safe working habits and regulations related to the Canada Labour Code;
Knowledge of operation and maintenance of various light motorized tools, hand tools and equipment (e.g. power, mechanical, motorized.)
Abilities
Ability to read and understand written instructions;
Ability to carry out labour duties as directed;
Ability to operate light motorized equipment;
Ability to lift, guide and carry various loads of materials and equipment.
